So Sorry for the Delay!

Thank you so much for being patient, everyone!  There's been a lot going on with the humans in our house lately, so it's been difficult to blog.  This week especially!  Beast'sbelle went from planning a party to staying two days in the hospital with her middle daughter for her daughter's surprise appendectomy.

My date with Robby that I mentioned two posts ago was very nice.  We had a romantic candlelight dinner, provided by Beast'sbelle.  The candle was one of those LED candles (Beast'sbelle is always paranoid that we're going to melt ourselves if we're around real fire!). ;)  After we finished our meal, we watched "Meet the Robinsons" on Beast'sbelle's desktop computer.  Robby let me choose the movie. :)  I could have chosen one of Beast'sbelle's period dramas or romantic films, but Robby's not really into those.  I know he would have watched one with me, just to be polite, but I wanted to choose something that we would both enjoy.  We spent our evening chuckling over the hilarious escapades of "Bowler Hat Guy".  I sat close to Robby during the scary hat sequences, and during the more sentimental parts, Robby held my hand.  I love the feel of his big, strong hand around mine. :D

At the end of the evening, he asked if I had any plans for Valentine's Day.  Obviously, the answer was no, as I'd been saving that day for him.  He asked if I'd like to do something with him that day, too, and of course I said yes! ;)

Now, I have to admit, dear readers, I had pretty high expectations for Valentine's Day.  I mean, it's the most romantic day of the year, we've been discussing a summer wedding...to me, the timing seemed perfect.

We had a lovely evening.  We had another candlelight meal, this time out on the front porch (Beast'sbelle checked on us every once in a while to make sure we didn't need anything...this worked out well, since she and Belle'sbeast were watching a movie in the living room together for their Valentine's Day night.).  Robby gave me some beautiful ribbon roses.  But that was it.  No proposal.  No engagement bracelet.  I tried not to be too disappointed, but, to be perfectly honest, I had to hide my tears from him as we headed back to our spot in Beast'sbelle's room.  I love Robby, and I'm so ready to officially be his fiance!  I know I need to be patient and wait for his timing, but it's getting harder and harder!

I'm afraid that's all I have time for today.  Hopefully in the next week or two I'll be able to bring you a "real" post with pictures and everything.  Talk to you again soon! :)

Thanks, vkpixie. She's already feeling a lot better. She'll have to miss a week or so of school, and then things should be pretty much back to normal.

Maybe Robby IS planning something big...I guess I'll just have to wait and see. :}

I am glad you at least got to do something on Valentine's Day. Who knows? You might have not been able to do what you did :) And dont worry, Robby will get to it. If he had done it and not been ready, it could have been a difficult process lol. Not that I have had any experience. Im just a teen. :)

Oh no, I hope Beastsbell's daughter is OK! I'll be on the edge of my seat waiting for your post! :) Maybe Robby is just shy. Well, now that I think about that, I can't imagine Robby being shy.

Hey, remember when Robby first came, and Beastsbelle named him Robby because he didn't have any other name? Well, I just found out that the prince's name was Adam. So Robby could have been named Adam....sorry Robby!

Thanks for commenting, gals. I'm sure Robby has everything perfectly planned. He's just a lot more patient than I am. ;)

I've heard that the original prince was named Adam. Weird. I can't imagine Robby being an Adam. I like him just the way he is. ;)
