My Not So Great Week

Hello, dear readers.  I know I promised to post something last week, but I do have a pretty valid excuse.  I'm actually recovering from major surgery.  As of Thursday, Rapunzel is not the only fashion doll to receive a body swap.  Yep, I went through it too.  And let me tell you, I hope I never have to repeat the process!

I'd love to go into more detail, but I'm still pretty weak from the swap.  I'm only able to post this because Beast'sbelle agreed to take my dictation and type this for me.  I have so much to share about all that has happened over the past several weeks.  Once I've fully recovered, you'll have plenty of reading material, believe me!

Ben says I should start feeling more like myself (an odd choice of words, considering that the only part of "me" left is my head) within the next few days.  Robby's been keeping an eye on me like a nervous watchdog at all times, so he'll probably want me to take blogging slowly for a while.  As soon as I can, though, I'll share everything that's been going on.  And as long as everything goes according to plan, I hope to have my answer post up by the week before Thanksgiving. (Thank you for all of your lovely questions, by the way.)  Until next time, dear readers.

Oh Belle, I hope you're okay!

Hopefully this will cheer you up: today I was in your musical! I was a villager and a mop;) And the girl who played you was AMAZING!

Get well soon!

Oh my goodness, Belle! This is terrible!! I mean, I'm happy that it went alright, and that you're recovering really well, but...
(As you can tell, I'm still trying to recover from a bit of shock over here)
Alright, we're going to be wishing you the best over here, starting with this comment! *sends hugs over the internet*

Oh my gosh! I'm glad the most torturous doll treatment I've ever had was sitting in a plastic bag nude with acne cream all over my face! It got stained from a stupid Disney store Merida cape. Fuzzy (owner) and D (her friend) suddenly decided that "I" stole Merida's cape and was a mysterious figure that had a weird craving for PINEAPPLES. As you can see, 11 year old girls have very vivid imaginations.

PS. Maddie says hi to the other Maddie!

Thank you so much for all of the get well wishes, everyone. :) Ben says I'm recovering nicely, but I'm going a little crazy with all of this rest! Beast'sbelle said she might be able to type for me later today...

Natalie, I'll go into a lot more detail in a later post, but it was related to a minor neck injury.

Merida here, OH MY!! I hope ya feel better soon! I suggest taking small walks to get used to the new movements. Once I was first released from my box, I fell over every two seconds because of my bad articulation. (I'm a 2012 doll,) And my new Disney doll friend Rapunzel here also wants to say something,

Hi, as Merida introduced me, I'm the Rapunzel of over here. I must say, a body swap doesn't sound fun. And while I won't be getting one, I know the problems of a new body, Merida was wobbly when she was released from her box and said that she walked small spaces to get used to it. I, suffer from a broken knee joint, (I feel your pain Robby,) so I have to have an escort or at least someone to watch me whenever I decide to walk around for a great distance. Robby, you can take comfort in knowing there is another doll with a problem just like yours, and Belle, I suggest going to your Rapunzel for guidance with this new found articulation.

Rapunzel and Merida,

Hi Belle! I would love to see how you're doing with the new body. Several of my girls have new bodies of that kind and they love them...

I'll be sharing more about that soon, Desert Lily! :) Stay tuned this next week...
